Whether you are travelling through Serbia, Croatia or Bosnia & Herzegovina sooner or later you will get ajvar served with your food. Ajvar is made from a few ingredients, namely roasted peppers and aubergine, with salt, oil and spices. It tastes great with meat dishes, but it is also delicious spread on bread. Most locals love it and a real seasoning that gives your dish that extra spice!
