The Festival of Light Sarajevo is an event in Sarajevo, where the city is illuminated with various light installations, projections, and artistic displays. It is a celebration of art, culture, and creativity, using light as a medium to transform the architecture and public spaces of the city. The festival aims to bring people together and create a vibrant and visually stunning experience for both residents and visitors.
Most of the festival installations were set up in the Botanical Garden of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in the middle of the museum complex.
The first edition of the Sarajevo Light Festival was opened in the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the Citizenship Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina – November 25, 2023, and will last until the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, March 1, 2024.
Opening hours: From 18:30 to 22:00, the entrance will be open not only to the Botanical Garden but also to the rest of the museum. More information is available on the website.
